At last! Home rainwater collection tanks that actually look amazing. Waterwall, a company started by two friends in Melbourne, Australia, created freestanding tanks that collect rainwater from roof runoff to be used in the garden or in the home itself.
While collecting rainwater is in no way a new concept, the Waterwall Freestanding Tank is the first tank that can work double-duty as a fence or garden dividing wall. While it stands only two feet wide, it has the capability of storing a whopping 650 gallons of water.
The tanks are made from UV-stabilized, high-density polyethylene to keep light out and prevent algae from growing inside. Walls are built to stand for several years and won’t bulge when the tank is full.
In addition to providing tutorials and instructions to help with the installation, Waterwall also gives homeowners several color options to choose from: Autumn Brown, Cream, Brick Red and Deep Green.
Waterwall has created a sustainable concept to help fulfill a need without harming the environment. That is what living green is all about.
