Check out this fantastic bathroom makeover by a couple in Washington, DC. With only $900, they decided not to replace any major fixtures (except the old dinosaur of a toilet) and focus on updating the aesthetic appeal instead.
Quite the contrary…
Amazingly enough, the sinks and cabinetry were kept firmly intact, but took on a whole new persona once the walls were painted and the wall-length mirror was removed. New chic lighting and two smaller framed mirrors were placed above each sink.
The color scheme was kept crisp and natural with great blue and turquoise accents.
The biggest and priciest addition to this remodel? The new and improved toilet. In order to bring this update fully into the 21st century, this was considered to be a necessary addition.
It’s amazing what a fresh coat of paint and new tile will do. Surely anything is better than that heinous floral paper. Yikes.
