Design Precision: Contemporary Remodel in Bronxville
From admin on August 31st, 2010 in New York

This remodel by Resolution: 4 Architecture makes me happy—very, very happy. The Rulon-Miller home in Bronxville, New York received an addition and total overhaul that ramped up the edginess of the existing structure, while also giving something of a peaceful ambience back to the surrounding environment.

Cedar planks on the home’s exterior keep the rest of the structure from feeling stark. They also break up the contemporary design with varying colors and textures.

Materials are light, clean and high-quality, creating a clutter-free space, as seen in the bathroom.

Stark and somewhat eerie may be the best words to describe the bath, though this gives the homeowners a blank slate to work with.
It’s not the most decked-out home in the world, but this Resolution: 4 Architecture remodel was perfect for homeowners that wanted to emulate the modern, contemporary style they admired. And they did so with excellent precision.
