Most anything you need for your remodel can be found at ReStore. 4910 Para Drive, Bond Hill.
Repurposing gently (or not so gently) used items has been many-a-homeowner’s saving grace in a down economy. Luckily for Cincinnati residents, there is now a one-stop-shop for all these great “second life” finds: ReStore. And even better than the bargains? All proceeds help fund the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
In hopes of spreading the word, the store had its official grand opening on May 15th and will now be open to the public every Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm. It’s located at 4910 Para Drive in Bond Hill. The store will also be accepting donations of new or lightly used items during regular business hours.
So what exactly can be found in the massive 35,000-square-foot building? Everything from appliances and flooring to tools and windows. In truth, the significantly lower prices that come with donated items will help Cincinnati homeowners almost as much as the Habitat for Humanity home recipients. And of course, you should be able to use your donations as a tax deduction.
If you’ve been considering a home remodel, then check out the ReStore. You might just find what you need – all while helping out a fantastic cause. And what could be better than that?
