New Jersey Colonial home may have a keen eye for collectables, but when it came time to bring them together in a cohesive design, they knew they needed a little help. Interior designer
Gerald Charles Tolomeo rose to the challenge by creating the perfect backdrop for all their treasures.

began by revamping the walls with a fresh coat of Benjamin Moore’s White Dove paint. Walnut stain was added to the wood floors for a clean and crisp contrast. In the living room, a white table brings a touch of simplicity to the large collection of books in the background, while Chinese fabric on two of the chairs adds a hint of fun....

With five grown children and a growing brood of grandchildren, Ann and Mark Baiada purchased this spectacular beach house in Avalon hoping for more family time and an irresistible gathering spot by which to lure them in. After a few large renovations, the home now sleeps 25 comfortably with the possibility of an on-site cottage being turned into space for 10 more.
There was a rich history etched into the 100-year-old Victorian when the Baiada’s purchased it. In 1892, the land was sold to a local woman for a dollar, who later sold it to a man from Philadelphia.

While most spouses aren’t thrilled by their partner’s hobby obsessions, let alone encourage them, this Bergen County homeowner actually got inspiration for his golf-themed room from his wife. Go figure. And even though it is a true tribute to his passion, it has become a favorite hang-out for the whole family.
The second-story family room was designed by Steven Fioravanti of Greenbaum Interiors, with a massive collection of golf memorabilia leading the way. Cindy Nelson lent her artistic vision for the beautiful mural of St. Andrew’s Golf Course, which surrounds the staircase leading up to the room.

If you have a chipped sidewalk or the front of the house looks dirty, for example, then passersby may immediately write off the property.
