An Awesome Golfer’s Hang-Out Spot
From admin on May 3rd, 2010 in Newark
While most spouses aren’t thrilled by their partner’s hobby obsessions, let alone encourage them, this Bergen County homeowner actually got inspiration for his golf-themed room from his wife. Go figure. And even though it is a true tribute to his passion, it has become a favorite hang-out for the whole family.

The second-story family room was designed by Steven Fioravanti of Greenbaum Interiors, with a massive collection of golf memorabilia leading the way. Cindy Nelson lent her artistic vision for the beautiful mural of St. Andrew’s Golf Course, which surrounds the staircase leading up to the room.

Even the small touches are inspired by the sport, notably a carpet made from an actual putting green. Trophies were given the proper amount of respect in wood cases designed by Edie Niche of Niche Brothers.
This room may not be the prime spot for practicing, but it certainly could get anyone in the mood for a few rounds of golf.
