Silver Line Window Types – West Coast

Single hung

Traditional in design with classic architectural details, this window style is energy efficient and includes standard features that most other manufacturers offer as upgrades. The windows are custom-made to fit and simple to install. Minimum width is 16-3/4” and maximum width is 48.” Minimum height is 26-3/4” with a maximum height of 79-3/4.”

Sliders

Sliders are ideal for rooms that are limited in space and deprived of light; they allow for plenty of light and fresh air. Somewhat modern in design, this window creates an illusion of spaciousness. The sashes glide easily on a specially designed rolling track and offer the advantage of being removable for easy cleaning. Minimum width is 22” and maximum is 72.” Minimum height is 14-1/4” with a maximum of 59-3/4.”

Picture

This is a fixed window that doesn’t open. The picture window offers endless design opportunities - either use by itself as a decorative window overlooking your landscaping or with other windows as an accent. Minimum width is 12-1/4” and the maximum is 95-3/4.” Minimum height is 12-1/4” with a maximum of 95-3/4."

Geometric

Turn a simple house into a showcase with these stunning eye-openers. Geometric windows have an elegant, curved arch that adds an artistic element to the room without overwhelming the space. East coast products include everything included on the west coast plus these additions:

Double hung

Double hung windows create a timeless and classic look that will add curb appeal to any home (regardless of its architectural style). That's real versatility. There are four models to choose from: 1200, which is their budget line; 4000, which is similar to 1200 but with more features; 8500, including an attractive colonial exterior, insulated glass, tilt-in sashes for easy cleaning and rugged vinyl construction; and 9500, their top-of-the-line.

Casements

Casement windows add a touch of contemporary elegance and provide for plenty of ventilation. They have a one-hinged sash that swings out and allows fresh air in. Silver Line offers an array of styles and five models to choose from that are available in custom sizes. 

Awning

Practical and incredibly good-looking, awnings open out like an awning from their overhead hinges. Awnings are common additions placed above or below other windows and over doors for the benefit of additional light and air. This line offers seven stylish designs and sizes.

Hopper

You’ll often see hoppers above tall built-ins, on both sides of a fireplace, or in basements. Choose between two models: the 300 series, which features its patent-pending injection-molded technology and strong, weather-resistant material that will never need painting, or the 5900 series, perfect for allowing ventilation in tight spaces.

Bay/Bow

These gorgeous windows will add character and distinction to any home. You've got two styles to choose from: the 6600 is available in 3, 4, or 5 Lite casement window units, while the 6700 series offers a center picture window that’s flanked by two casements or double windows.

Garden

The 6900 garden window allows you to see more of the outdoors and bring more sunshine inside. They’re also perfect for growing herbs for cooking. You’ll find three styles and sizes to choose from in the 6900 series.
