Sierra Pacific Replacement Windows with Cardinal High-Performance Glass
Sierra Pacific is a forestry products company in its third generation of family ownership. The company owns 2 million acres of forest land in California and Washington, making it the largest of its kind in North America. Sierra Pacific owns multiple factories that make use of all the wood the company harvests, including scrap that is turned into wood fiber. The organization is self-contained in that every tree is processed by the company, and the end result is the window shipped personally to the window installation contractor at the job site on Sierra Pacific trucks.
Cardinal High-Performance Glass is one of the many exceptional glass products in use by Sierra Pacific. Cardinal Glass was founded in 1962 in Minnesota and has since grown to serve the contiguous 48 states, plus Alaska and multiple international clients. The company has manufacturing facilities in 27 locations across the US and employs more than 5,500 people. Cardinal Glass provides turnkey solutions for window manufacturers and high-performance options based on extensive research and development. Cardinal is also founded on the principle of superior products through innovation.
The Cardinal glass used by Sierra Pacific is the LoE2-272 glass that provides clearer views, whether the temperatures are hot or cold outside. LoE2-272 glass also blocks UV light, which extends the life of drapes, wall coverings and other materials affected by exposure to UV light. Also offered by Sierra Pacific is Cardinal’s LoE2-240 coated glass, which is very similar to LoE2-272, but adds glare protection.
