Picture windows add interest to any room and can be installed as a standalone or mixed with other windows for visual appeal. The PGT picture window line includes architectural designs as well as the standard picture window. Both are constructed with no movable sash. PGT offers 5 lines of picture windows: Aluminum, WinGuard aluminum, vinyl series 400, SpectraGuard vinyl and WinGuard vinyl.

Glass  

• It comes standard in monolithic glass. Optional glass includes tempered glass for enhanced safety, insulating glass for extra energy savings and argon gas and Low-E for upgraded energy efficiency.

Aluminum picture windows are strong, durable and low-maintenance. They’re energy efficient with their double weather stripping and interlocking meeting rails. They come in many grid patterns and custom patterns are available as well.

• Green, Gray, Bronze, Obscure (privacy glass), Azurlite, Solarcool, white interlayer (opaque interlayer for privacy) and Low-E (IG only).

• It comes standard with impact-resistant laminated glass with an optional laminated insulating glass.

The series 400 picture window is durable and energy efficient due to its full weather stripping, aluminum-reinforced vinyl frames and insulating glass. The glass is silicone-glazed for a tight seal. Plus, they come with exterior glazing. It comes in many grid options and is a low-maintenance and rust-free window.

A gorgeous window line, the SpectraGuard picture window looks just like wood. They come with double or triple soft Low-E coating and argon gas for increased insulation. The thick window has a pressure rating of DP 50, which makes it resilient against high winds.
