The jalousie window by Milgard is made with maintenance-free, weather-tight vinyl. The jalousie is ideal for bathrooms, family rooms and sunrooms and offers a variety of configuration styles. Louver slats come in your choice of cedar or glass

The louvers open and shut easily and give you the advantage of tilting up and down for a bit of fresh air. Installing a jalousie in the bathroom adds privacy – by tilting the windows upward, no one can see inside. Opting for Milgard’s obscure glass adds even more privacy. It’s also an ideal window for filtering or blocking out the sun. It’s like having a privacy window and mini-blinds combined in one unit.

The upgraded 9/16” cedar wood slats interlock and come in a natural finish, so they’ll need to be weather-sealed and maintained every few years.

The window comes standard with insulating SunCoat Low-E clear glass or you can upgrade to the SunCoat MAX, which helps prevent your curtains and furniture from fading. The louvers are 4” deep with 1/4” thickness. Upgraded glass choices include obscure, solar bronze, solar gray and pyrolytic hardcoat Low-E.

Milgard also offers two optional energy packages to boost your homes efficiency: 3D and 3D Max, both of which offer double the Energy Star standards for efficiency.
