Milgard Horizontal Sliding Windows are all about ease of opening and conservation of space. Because all Milgard windows come with Low-E glazing, you can trust that your sliders are an excellent choice for energy efficiency. They are also available in custom shapes and sizes.
Most of Milgard's horizontal sliders are single-sash operators, meaning that only one side of the window slides open. However, in their "Tuscany" architectural line of vinyl windows, the horizontal double slider opens on both sides simultaneously.
Window options for horizontal sliders:
Colors vary by frame material. For vinyl, the standard tan and white can always be expected. For aluminum, add clear and bronze anodized frames. Wood-clad fiberglass windows have by far the most color options, with mahogany or Douglas fir interiors and a range of exterior cladding colors. These include hues of red, green, black, tan and white, among others.
Window Frame Materials
For your new window frame, you have the option of every material type that Milgard offers: vinyl, fiberglass, wood-clad, aluminum, thermally-improved aluminum and sound control windows.
