Joyce Manufacturing was born in 1954 near Cleveland, Ohio and immediately became well known in the area for building quality aluminum sunrooms. Albert and Gustav Schmidt founded the company, naming it after Albert's wife, Joyce. By 1955, the company had incorporated and expanded to offer an array of home improvement products, including aluminum awnings and railings, in addition to its primary cash cow: sunrooms.
Some 40 years later, and having already broadened its market to everything east of the Mississippi, Joyce decided to begin building vinyl sunrooms. Before long, the company became known as the largest vinyl sunroom manufacturer in the industry, and using their 50-plus years of experience in home improvement, as well as a proven track record in vinyl products, Joyce Mfg. opened its Joyce Windows division.
Joyce Windows offers a diverse array of vinyl windows. Two lines, the Heritage and Insulator, embody supreme efficiency and customized quality. Joyce understands that no two regions, states, towns, even homes are exposed to the elements in exactly the same way, not to mention each homeowner's individual taste. That is why the company offers a variety of glass, color and other window options.
In addition to double-hung and sliding windows, Joyce offers casements, awnings, basement hoppers, bays, bows, gardens, specialty shapes and sliding doors. A range of low-e glass coatings and other energy efficiency options are available, ensuring that your windows will qualify for the ARRA tax credit. Joyce Windows has also developed its own line of PRIZM custom exterior acrylic coatings in 10 standard colors with any custom color available – all with a lifetime warranty.
Joyce Windows are the epitome of custom and energy efficient design. The company now has dealers in 27 states from the Atlantic Ocean to the Missouri River, as well as select dealers in southern California. Further details about Joyce Windows' products are available at JoyceWindows.com.
