Andersen Windows & Doors has manufactured solid wood windows and doors since 1903. Over the years, the company has created several quality products, all recognized industry-wide for their innovative features.
Types of Windows
Andersen produces the following window types:
The window frames are made out of solid wood and come in various stains and colors. A wood composite material called Fibrex is also available. Fibrex is low-maintenance, durable, and made from reclaimed materials.
Andersen doesn’t cut corners on glass options. Even the lowest Andersen line offers an energy efficient Low-E glass in dual-panes. Two higher lines offer High Performance Low-E4 glass with tints to prevent harmful rays from the sun from penetrating. For storm windows, the company offers impact-resistant glass for added security. Decorative glass options are also available, along with several different grill styles.
Andersen has developed three different lines of windows. The 200 Series is the most affordable and still offers durable beauty. The 400 Series provides more custom glass, finish and hardware options for a slightly higher price. The Architectural Line offers the most custom features and sizes and works in symmetry with the other two series.
