The four season, or all seasons, sunroom is the epitome of outdoor rooms, designed to provide comfortable enjoyment year round. Sunrooms are typically three or four season. While both are glass rooms (full or partial glass), the four season sunroom will have all the amenities of the interior of the home.
The ceiling, walls, and floor are fully insulated and the windows contain insulated glass. Usually the home’s heating and air conditioning system will be extended to include the sunroom. In some cases baseboard heating or window AC may be added to supplement the main home HVAC system. It is this controlled climate that sets a four season sunroom apart, allowing total comfort year round—from the coldest winter day to the most sultry day in summer.
