Eventually you’ll have a band of new paint from one side of the house to the other. Continue this pattern until you reach the bottom. Obviously, the painting gets easier the lower you go.
• To paint dormers, eaves and gables, you’ll probably have to get on the roof. A ladder usually can’t reach these areas. Then, use the same painting tactics: start at the top and paint your way down to the bottom. It’s important to provide this regular upkeep to your home and paint adds a great protective layer.
