Patio Landscaping

A patio adds such a wonderful and comfortable area to our outdoor spaces that it is almost a staple of American home design. During long summer days and pleasant spring and autumn evenings, there is no better refuge than an outdoor patio. It is where we have our barbecues, parties, and summer breakfasts.

Patio installation is also a common DIY project, depending on the size and design pattern of the patio. The more complex the patio design the better it is to hire a professional contractor to do the work. Installed correctly, most patios, regardless of material, will last for decades with only sparse maintenance required (although a quick, regular sweeping is never a bad idea).
