Concrete Stain Remover

There are few things quite as frustrating as a stubborn stain soiling your concrete surface. No matter how you scrub and wash away, there are just some stains that refuse to come out. For those annoying little problems, you can apply some special stain-removing solutions.

As with all chemicals, it is in the best interest of your health and the safety of the environment to try all the least toxic solutions first. These can include bleach, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, and even cola. For more resistant stains, there are harsher solutions such as trisodium phosphate and muriatic acid. Each of these solutions requires certain precautions and special considerations for application. The following articles discuss these techniques to help you find a solution to your concrete problem.

Even with the proper stain removers, removing stains can be a tedious and frustrating process. You will not always be successful, either. Some of these methods, such as TSP and muriatic acid are a bit risky. Before attempting any of these methods on your concrete surface, you should consult a professional who will be able to advise you on the best removal technique for your type of stain.
