Luke Wilson, president of Vista General LLC, is a fourth generation general contractor. Company Background

Since July of 2001, Vista General has specialized in high-end remodels, additions, and new builds ranging across every price range. "We have done projects that lasted 2.5 years. Price ranges from $5,000 to $5 million," Luke says. "Custom work is typical, many times entailing working with older homes and updating them with today's amenities."

Vista General operates with two office personnel, three superintendents, and 2 to 6 multiple laborers and carpenters, depending on the workload and project scope. "All of our superintendents are highly qualified and have performed work in some of the premier homes in the Phoenix area," Luke says. In addition, as president and owner, Luke still makes daily visits to all job sites to assure quality, cleanliness, and safety.

Preparation and Quality

Schedule, security, and cleanliness. Vista General will stay on top of all three. Highly sensitive to customer's homes and families, Vista General never spares time or materials when preparing/masking work areas. Customers can rest assured that there's no exposed electrical wiring, that power tools are put away, and that plumbing lines are secured. In other words, the job site will be attended by professionals every day, and all areas are always left safe and clean at the end of each work day. "Securing the home at the end of every work day is crucial. Not only for security against outside invaders, but from a safety standpoint of the homeowners themselves."

Vista General also stays up to date on the latest trends and remodeling technologies. "We subscribe to at least 6 or 7 different design/construction publications and attend various home shows." If you're looking for a company that understands green building, Vista General is a good fit for you!
