TZ Remodels Incorporated was founded on the principle of always thinking: "How can the final product look its best?" A general contractor since 2001, TZ Remodels services Central San Diego and East County, including La Mesa, El Cajon, and Spring Valley. 

On Time and On Track

General contractor Tim Zuzack executes all of TZ Remodels' projects to ensure that everything is done correctly. Though he has experience in numerous project types, Tim has kept the core of his business in kitchen and bathroom remodeling.

Tim earned a BSCE from San Diego State University. "Not many contractors have a 4-year degree. I truly care about what I am doing; many are in it to make as much money as they can and do not treat the projects and clients with the same respect I do. Sometimes, it is nice to call a cleaning service to come in after the project is complete to clean the customer's whole house as a thank you, or provide a gift such as one of those robotic floor cleaning vacuums."

Tim's motto is: "Do what you say you are going to do, and on time."

Project Execution

Tim appreciates the fact that each project is different, entailing its own challenges from design to construction. Whether it's precisely cutting crown molding or removing existing flooring or fixtures, the company will execute each detail with care and in the right order to help make the final product look as good as possible.

TZ Remodels believes protecting areas of the home outside the construction area is key. The company will go the extra mile to make homeowners feel comfortable. "If a major kitchen remodel, maybe the owner would like a temporary kitchen set up in the garage, for example." 

Working with Homeowners

Because homeowners want to stay informed about their projects, TZ Remodels practices good communication with homeowners, providing an ordered work item list for the homeowner so they are aware of what is happening during the project. Homeowners can expect friendly and professional service from TZ Remodels at all times. "I always try to make sure the homeowner is comfortable."
