In 1998, Tekton Home Improvement began building custom windows and doors for the Minneapolis-St.Paul Metro Area. Before long, however, the company grew into the primary distributor of brand name windows and doors to lumberyards across Minnesota, as well as the installer of many of those windows for national production builders.

In 2007 we went even further. We decided to take our fair, honest, and ethical approach to home improvement directly to the homeowner. Tekton Home Improvement projects are high quality with a fast payback and minimal disruption to homeowners and their families. While our longstanding specialty continues to be window replacements, we have expanded into replacement acrylic bath systems, which provide a new bath in just one day and at a fraction of the cost of traditional bathroom remodels.

We strive to deliver the best home improvement products to homeowners, but we do not define our success simply by our bottom line or customer satisfaction. Now these are tantamount to our success and we aim to satisfy each and every customer, but we also recognize the larger importance of wise stewardship and the betterment of our community.

Our positive impact on the Twin Cities community is another great measure of our wealth and success. At Tekton Home Improvement, we are firmly committed to social, economic, and environmental well-being. While our first and most present tools to achieving such well-being are our integrity, hard work and dedication to service, we know that there is always more that can be done.

That is why we donate 5% of our profits to support education, community partnerships, social services, law enforcement, and the environment. Most of this funding is allocated through the direct involvement of our own team members in community groups and organizations. Some of these organizations include:

• The Boy Scouts of America - Northern Star Council
• Minnesota Teen Challenge

We also understand the power of our products to make a difference in our lives and our environment. Replacing old and drafty windows with new energy efficient models increases the value of and comfort level within the home, as well as saving significantly on heating and cooling costs. New windows may also be available for up to a $1,500 energy tax credit. We work to accumulate all these benefits at a high rate of return and with minimal stress to you, the homeowner.

We have a strong background in the residential construction industry, with years of experience providing products and services to lumberyards, contractors, and builders. Such extensive experience and product knowledge has provided us with a deep and unique understanding of our products, how they perform, and how to install them.
