"I enjoy showcasing the craftsmanship of custom-built cabinets. I don't install cookie cutter, run-of-the-mill kitchen cabinets; I custom build them based on that customer's needs."

Josh reminds his customers that these are not contractors, but retailers. You will likely be trapped in their offices for hours until you sign. "The U.S. was founded on the backbone of small businesses, not huge corporations" Josh says. "If you're oriented in customer service and if timeliness and cleanliness matter, those companies will not give it to you. Everything will be rush rush rush, go go go. I believe there's room in this market for the honest contractor."

At the same time, in this economy, there are numerous contractors out there who are slashing prices to rock bottom, beating out their competitors because of their affordability. Josh will not be the least or most expensive contractor available. In the long-run, though, you can depend on Josh's products to last and his business to remain stable. "With the guys who are outbidding everybody, the problem is, you get what you pay for. The cheapest contractor is not putting as much money in your project to do it cheaper, and he's not keeping money in the bank afterward to be able to afford coming back should something go wrong in the future. I will be there in two years if a shingle blows off, and under warranty guidelines, I won't be pressuring you for service money."

Josh will not rush to get his next project started, leaving his jobsites every 2 to 3 days to go to another job. Instead of overbooking himself, he works on one project at a time, giving your home the time and attention it needs.
