Robert Laun, President of R. J. Laun Construction Corporation, has been in business since 1983. R.J. Laun Construction offers residential remodel construction ranging from windows and doors to kitchens, baths, and additions. The company services Pasadena, Glendale, and Hollywood in Los Angeles.
"My company philosophy is that there is no substitute for experience," Robert says. A hands-on contractor with 30 years of finish carpentry experience, Robert personally checks orders for windows, doors, cabinets, etc. "If anything catches my eye that is not perfect I take care of it before the customer can make mention of it."
R.J. Laun Construction uses protective materials to cover carpet, flooring, tile, and furniture. The company also uses HEPA vacuums during and at the end of each day to keep the home clean. "I believe that a customer's home is their sanctuary and should be treated with the utmost care and kept clean during a remodeling project."
Maintaining a workload of one project to four projects at one time, Robert only works with a team of highly experienced and skilled tradesman, which he believes are in short supply. "My staff will increase or decrease with workload. I use the lead carpenter system of organization with excellent subcontractors."
When it comes to working with homeowners, R.J. Laun is recognized for establishing relationships. "I have wonderful working relationships with my customers; I am their new best friend.
