Prior to beginning a project, president and owner John O'Donoghue provides detailed consultations to ensure that the work is executed according to expectations. "I sit down with the homeowners to make sure that they know exactly what we've agreed on. We go through the contract to make sure nothing unexpected pops up later." Even though O'Donoghue has two crews, he makes the effort to spend time on every job, preferring hands-on work to overseeing from a distance. "I always find time to sit with homeowners to see if there are questions or concerns. I give them a lot of time."
In addition, O'Donoghue Construction has come to be recognized for completing projects quickly and effectively. "We get work done pretty fast," O'Donoghue explains, "but our inspections always pass. We complete work on time, and we do it correctly." Known to be competitive on bids, O'Donoghue can do in three to four months what other companies might take six months to do.
