Established in April of 1983, Lone Star Remodeling has a strong, 25-year presence in the Dallas area and surrounding cities. President and CEO Stephen Milller comprises a fourth generation of builders and remodelers in his family. As someone with strong construction roots who always leaned toward remodeling, Stephen started his own business in the industry as soon as he had the chance.

Stephen has two basic philosophies for Lone Star Remodeling:

1. Treat others the way I want to be treated (The Golden Rule).
2. Help to make the client's dreams a reality.

Full-Service Remodeling and Construction

As a full-service remodeling and construction company, Lone Star Remodeling will service all of your kitchen, bathroom, room addition, and custom wine cellar requests. With in-house employees who have been with Stephen for over a decade and a close-knit network of subcontractors, Lone Star Remodeling can handle large and small projects alike. "On larger projects, I like to get a set of plans or drawings, so that the job turns out as planned in the shortest time possible," Stephen says. "On smaller projects, we typically can discuss with the customer what will happen, or write up a work schedule on a calendar."

Regardless of the project scope or size, Lone Star Remodeling strives to give the best quality service for the best price possible. One route to this end is excellent customer service before, during, and after the project is complete. "I like to ask lots of questions," Stephen says, "so that I can do the best job possible for my clients. I feel that by spending time, it helps the client get to know me, and for me to get to know the client. This helps us establish a rapport, which helps the project go smoothly. I also encourage my clients to ask lots of questions, and I take each question seriously."

Working Within Your Budget

In addition to honest and effective communication, Lone Star Remodeling strives to work within every client's budget. "I ask the customers to make a list for me prior to our meeting. Then I ask them to prioritize their list. I then break the project into segments so that we can do the project in phases if needed, without sacrificing quality.
