J and S Property Partners LLC was founded in 2005 by James S. Hanson after 25 years of construction and construction management experience. "At J and S Property Partners, your goal is our commitment," James says. The company serves East and South Valley cities with commercial and residential construction and remodeling requests. "My working knowledge and experience, not only of carpentry, but all trade divisions of construction set me apart from a lot of my competition."

Step-by-Step Construction Process

Your J and S Property remodeling project will start with what the company feels is the most important step: drawing. The company hires an interior designer or architect as needed in order to dictate the correct direction to accurately approach the job. The planning stages that determine color, layout, and finish entail the next step, followed by the get-after-it steps of demolition and construction. "I believe that we all learn by past mistakes and without years of experience there are bound to be new mistakes to be made. That is why I feel that my experience in construction and construction management stands as a strong guiding light for the critical path of the construction and the overall health of the construction process as a whole."

Workload and Staff Organization

James' staff includes his wife, who is the company secretary and representative for accounts payable/ receivable. Other staff members include James' support in the field and a crew that fluctuates from 3 to 5 men, as needed. "Our crew can grow to any size necessary to accomplish the task at hand."

Because James takes the time to help his customers understand the construction process, he enjoys a cordial working relationship with homeowners. "I am a friendly and knowledgeable guy. I like to make my customers at ease by doing exactly what I said I would do. In the end, it is their vision that is being built. I help them when they need help and because of my experience, I know where they need the help."

At the same time, James enjoys making the construction process fun. "I enjoy the actual work involved with taking something in disrepair and making it a new. I feel like a doctor at times. A house or building doctor."
