Home Perfection Contracting is a family-owned construction and remodeling company with a professional crew and management staff. Our experience and knowledge enable us to do the right job the first time. We offer a wide range of services from small bathroom to custom home building, with a focus on green building and energy efficiency.

Company owner Ahmad Khreshi prides himself on sustainable building practices. “I want to ensure that high-quality workmanship along with lasting materials are used in our projects,” said Khreshi in an interview with Green Building Quarterly. “Green [building] is not only using eco-friendly materials, but also durable ones.” His crew members take pride in reusing materials to cut costs for both the client and company.

Some of Home Perfection’s green techniques include:

• Minimal land disturbance and impact on surrounding tree roots
• Redistribution of excavated soil within the lot
• Reuse of demolished materials when possible in remodeling
• Energy Star insulated windows to provide adequate day lighting and maximum insulation
• Energy efficient water heating system
• Low-flow water fixtures, including shower heads, faucets and dual flush toilets
• Using a variety of eco-friendly insulation to maximize energy savings such as: recycled cotton fiber, spray foam, and blown-in natural recycled paper fiber
• Advanced framing techniques to allow insulation of corners and interior/exterior wall intersections
• Incorporate Air Sealing Packages to reduce air infiltration
• Use of round ducts with joints fully sealed to maximize air flow
• Install exhaust fans in all bathrooms near the shower area and ducted to the outside
• Energy Star lighting and dimmers
• Energy Star labeled appliances
• Floor heating systems
• Energy Star air conditioning systems
