Rafi Petrossian, owner of Cross Connection Construction, has over two decades of remodeling experience. In the course of his career, he makes it a priority to go the extra mile for the customer, paying meticulous attention to the customer's comfort and peace of mind during what could potentially be a disruptive process. "With other contractors, people are usually bothered by noise or clutter. With us, it's completely different. We really pay attention to the homeowner's needs. We minimize our presence and try to keep things separate. For instance, if we're working in a bathroom, we keep the door closed so there won't be much noise," Rafi says.

The company takes on about 7 to 8 projects at a time, and Rafi takes the time to visit every job site, never missing a single inspection.

Working with the Customers

Cross Connection specializes in bathrooms, kitchens, additions, and existing and detached space remodels. The process begins with a consultation, in which Rafi determines the customer's needs in order to draft a plan for the project. "For instance, if people are sensitive to dust, the first thing we'll do is cover all the walls to prevent further dust from going around the house."

Cross Connection seeks long-term relationships as opposed to one-time work. They are accustomed to getting referrals by word mouth from customers who appreciate their service. "My reputation is equal to my integrity. We love it when our customers recommend our company."

Rafi says he seeks to have a happy customer in the end. "At the end of the job, they will thank me and appreciate the quality of service and the relationship. That's why I've been in the business for over 21 years. I listen and I'm always open to their concerns. We take any requested steps to improve or to achieve customer satisfaction, as long as we stay within the contract. I do my utmost for our customers. We have so many resources we can provide them. I give them the right direction to make the right choices."

Rafi adds that Cross Connection is not an inexpensive company to hire. But customers will pay for quality and results that outperform the company's warranty. "We've never had call backs on our jobs. When a job is done in an excellent way, it only needs to be done once."
