"Connecting you to a higher power" is not just a slogan for us, but the way we do business. It is my belief that we all answer to a Higher Power, meaning, a God who loves us, care about us and expects us to do the best we can in everything we do. This applies whether or not you, the client, are present. While not everyone who is a Team Member of Arise Solar believes in a Higher Power, we will all rise to the call to do the very best we can in all that we do. Because, when all is said and done, we want to hear from both you and God,"Well done, good and faithful servant." -- Glenn Siemens, CEO
If you like dealing with the owners of a company, then Arise Solar is your source. From sales and design to actual installation, you'll have an owner involved in the process. According to founder Glenn Siemens, this enables you to go from deposit check to installation in about 30 to 45 days.
Arise Solar started in January of 2007, but the installation company, Arise Construction Inc., has been in business since 2004. Siemens, who has a general B contractor's license and has been in the construction industry since 1986, brings vast experience to the forefront, getting things done right the first time. "Our primary focus is to design and install systems correctly and cleanly," he says. "I hate to see metal conduit running along the tops of roofs or vent/exhaust pipes right in the middle of arrays. We take the extra time to run our entire metal DC conduit inside the attic whenever possible and we relocate or terminate roof penetrations so they are not in the middle of the solar array."
In addition to installing residential solar electric systems sized in conjunction with other lower cost energy efficiency measures, Arise Solar is dedicated to educating the general public on the benefits of renewable energy, both environmentally and individually. The company makes it a goal to provide the largest reduction in a home's "energy footprint" at the most affordable price possible.
Siemens explains, "It is normally better to first implement other energy reduction measures such as compact florescent light bulbs, high efficiency HVAC systems, vinyl windows, etc., which cost less, giving you a better 'bang for your buck,' then you can install a smaller solar electric system to make up the needed savings. After all, solar electric systems are expensive. So why spend a lot of money when you can spend less and accomplish the same task?"
In other words, the customers' best interests are kept in mind with each and every project. Here are some other advantages of working with Arise Solar. The company:
As a result of the outstanding services his company provides, Siemens is happy to reap the reward of happy customers. When asked what his favorite aspect of the solar business is, he responds, "I would have to say there are two of them. The look on our clients faces when they first see their meter running backwards and these same great people who become our friends."
