Our projects include kitchen and bath remodels, additions, decks, and basement renovations. No matter what the job entails, we give our clients the best experience possible. We stand behind our work, doing it right or doing it over with no questions asked. We understand that our clients have the choice of any number of contractors. Our Process

Our owners, Doug and Kelly Allen, strive to treat each project as if it were their own, keeping costs down, meeting deadlines in a timely and efficient manner, and minimizing the confusion to clients with regular communication.

“We get as much information in advance as possible to minimize surprises. We let our clients know when, why, how, where, and what they can expect and will experience in every phase of the project,” says Kelly, who is the company’s Vice President/General Manager.

Doug and Kelly are passionate about solving problems, being creative, and adding value to their clients. With a background in cabinet making and quality control, Doug brings extreme emphasis and attention to detail to every job, where his finishing touches are evident. From years of working with large companies in accounting, Kelly has been able to implement processes and procedures that demonstrate both Allen Construction’s professionalism and personal involvement with each customer. “We are determined to let our clients know that we value their job and are very thankful they have chosen us to work for them,” Kelly says.

Through the combined efforts of our entire team, we strongly believe our work not only transforms homes, but transforms lives. We’ll take a problem and turn it into an opportunity - an opportunity to provide a solution for our clients. While construction is in process, we're respectful of the homes we're invited into and remember that we are guests. When all is said and done, our clients gain the ability to use their homes in ways that bring them joy and functionality.

About the Owners

Doug Allen brings over 16 years of woodworking experiencing to the company. While making cabinets for a company that supplied to major corporations such as Safeway and Albertsons, Doug learned what it was like to take on a production-oriented position where a job was just a job. While he was given the opportunity to become a partner in the business, he realized that he was missing the satisfaction of working for a true purpose. Doug sacrificed a promotion and salary increase to go into business on his own and provide a valuable experience and product to his clients.

Kelly Allen is a CPA with a strong suit in cost accounting. Her legal background combined with Doug’s craftsman skills, industry knowledge, and attention to detail formed a solid foundation for Allen Construction Services.

“The first home remodel project that we undertook was our own. It needed a lot of work. There were many pains along the way, but Doug was determined to have the project completed within budget and quickly. Based on the headaches and nightmares that we either endured or managed to escape, our goal is to take the frustration and headaches away from our clients and provide them with the best experience and finished product that we can.”
