"You can't pay us to do wrong," 3-D Construction owner Kent Douglas says. "We'll do it right, and only right." This has been 3-D Construction's motto since its founding in 2000. The result is 8 years of superior workmanship and happy customers.
Experience Counts
In addition, Kent brings 30 years of previous construction experience to his company. This background prepares him for most anything that can happen on the construction site. "We're not a paper contractor; we're hands on on every aspect. All my employees are cross-trained so we know more than most. Even my employees know more about proper installation than most contractors know. We don't just specialize in anything; we're well rounded in all types of finishes. We're extremely diversified."
From foundation to finish, 3-D Construction is qualified to perform every aspect of residential or commercial building. Primarily based in San Mateo County, 3-D Construction will occasionally accept large, high-end jobs in San Francisco, Santa Clara County, and the East Bay.

Passion for Building
Kent is a contractor who loves the work he does. Though he's been in the business for 30 years, he has no plans to be in the office and turn the business over to someone else. "I love to build houses. I love the creative process, putting on my toolbelt and doing the actual work."
3-D Construction also takes pride in establishing long-lasting relationships with homeowners. "I typically work with them to minimize their displacement from the house and try to get them back in as soon as possible."
