What do you do if you’ve got a tiny bit of land with no room for gardening, and plants are your one true passion? You can do what this homeowner did and get in touch with Formwerkz, designers of The Maximum Garden House.
I cant say I have a green thumb, but I could learn if it meant my digs looked like this. The planters along the upper level are an outstanding and unusual design element, but they have function, too, since theyre used in lieu of a curtain to shield the residents privacy. A vertical planter is also inserted into the gate for more curbside lushness.
Topping off the sloping rooftop is some spiky shrubbery, which I think does the house justice by softening up the hard lines. Natures the best architect, however, and should the fortuitous giant tree out front fall, I believe it would be back to the drawing board, because this beauty adds greatly to the overall effect.
