<description>When we built an addition for our new master bathroom, we decided to use wood for the bathroom floor. We decided on Brazilian Cherry after some research about wood types. We have been very pleased with the results and after 5 years there are no signs of shrinkage or creaking noises even though we also have a steam system there. We have remodeled our house in stages during the past 20+ years and have always had success with all of our projects. All were done within budget, and we discuss all this and more in our book The Happy Remodelers.
