Looking for a way to add creativity and flair to your kitchen? Enter Jar Lights. The jar light is a product that is exactly what the title suggests—a light in a jar. Produced by TBD, a company that is a locus of innovation and artistic beauty, jar lights are a marriage of ingenuity, aesthetics, and efficiency.
Jar lights are made from a typical canning jar—a mere 22 oz. glass jar. The jars are extremely durable, designed to withstand extremely high heat and thermal fluctuation. They are engineered in such a way that they are virtually unbreakable, making them a perfect choice for housing a light unit. Affixed to the jar is a special steel assembly and tube light bulb. The lid of the jar can be removed from the bottom to easily change the bulb.
The dimensions of the jar light are 8.5 inches in height and 2.5 inches in width. They hang as a pendant from the ceiling and come with a canopy ceiling kit. Each is hand-assembled.
TBD, which stands for Tehrani Baylis Design, is all about contemporary design. From their San Francisco headquarters, they have nearly ten years of innovation experience and tasteful integration of modern styles into modern architecture.
