Wind-lockAnytime we find a fun resource for remodeling information, we share it with our readers. So here we are with a new blog from the great folks at Wind-lock called “The Tool Box.” The blog is still young, having just begun in January of 2010, but the posts up so far are an indication of plenty of great information and some entertaining content!

Wind-lock snow man.

Wind-lock is actually an extraordinarily hard-working company that exemplifies customer service. During a recent snowstorm that closed their facility, Wind-lock proactively planned and executed a process to continue to receive orders for shipping that same day from satellite warehouses. The acted quickly on their feet to keep things moving. Wind-lock has a stock-to-dock guarantee on the same day any order is placed, so to keep that promise they brought together a combination of technology, great people and resources.

Wind-lock has been a master distributor to the specialty construction industry for over 25 years. They supply the world’s best tools and accessories for EIFS, ICF, SIP’s and traditional construction. Wind-lock also carries Stealth (GFRG) Access Panels, Benjamin Obdyke water management products, and Dow Building Solutions insulation and weatherization materials. Their company philosophy holds true: “What you need, when you need it.”

As a blog, they are already writing about the fun stuff they do around the office, new products they are beginning to offer and showing off their flair for video blogging on Wind-lock’s YouTube page. Besides The Tool Box, you can also catch up with Wind-lock on Twitter and Facebook. We at CalFinder are looking forward to seeing where this cool, new blog is going and how Wind-lock continues to grow.
