Vintage-Style Bathrooms to Swoon Over
From Kayla on September 13th, 2010 in Bathroom Remodel
Vintage style really takes me back to simpler times – before a five-minute shower followed by an hour in morning traffic became my reality. I’m talking about the long-soak-in-the-tub kind of days. So when I came across these perfectly serene vintage-style bathrooms, I just had to share. Here are a few of my favorites.

Sweet and simple, this bathroom is made infinitely better by the unique sink. Blue is at the center of the color palette but manages not to overpower the space, and a large window allows in the perfect amount of natural light.

There’s nothing I love better than a fantastic bathtub, which is exactly why this bathroom caught my eye. Pair that with the vintage tile and country-style accessories and this space just screams design perfection.

With light walls and plenty of black accents, this space easily embodies vintage style. The washroom sign above the window and the collection of pictures on the wall reference a different, simpler time.

I’m not a big believer in wallpaper, but the soft green from these walls encourage rest and relaxation. Better yet, it flows easily with the neutral flooring and accents the white vanity oh so swell.
Lesson of the day: updating your bathroom doesn’t have to mean aligning the style with the 21st century. These designs prove that the past still has something special to offer.
